"The beauty of this whole process is becoming more altruistic...find love in your and have an attitude of giving...There is no sacrifice in that sense." ~Leif Cocks

Hello everyone welcome back to our new season of BeProvided Conservation Radio. Today we are sharing the story of the great apes that share 97% of human DNA, the orangutans. Leif Cocks, founder of The Orangutan Project, global orangutan expert and Orangutan Whisperer regards these great apes as the most noble people on our planet. Leif has just received one of Australia’s highest honors, the Medal of the Order of Australia for services in conservation and today he will be the one telling the story of his friends living in the rainforest. He will also share his story on how, even after 30 years, he continues to work tirelessly to improve the welfare of orangutans in captivity and ensure their survival in the wild.
